He stared out at the ocean, struck by its beauty. Unfortunately, such a view brought him no joy.
'Why did you leave me? He could hear her voice, carried on every wave, echoing in his mind. She had always wanted to see the ocean...she never did. He looked out at the endless expanse, remembering his beautiful wife He could feel her touch lingering on his skin. She would hug him close, hide in his arms, knowing with him there, no wrong could come to her. Why did he let her die? She was gone now...dead... He left her, stupidly, for another woman. She died of a broken heart. No matter what he did, she was nothing more than a memory. Love was a memory and nothing more. [Repainted from [link] |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces.
